March 23, 2011 at 4:29 am | Posted in book events, book news, fabric, log cabin quilting | 8 CommentsJust wanted to announce a few things to celebrate the official book release day – thank you to everyone who’s been in touch to say nice things about the book! I really appreciate it!

Thanks so much for the lovely comments on log cabin!]

Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on the book! It looks awesome. My favorite thing about log cabin quilting is being able to use up scraps of fabric!

I love simple patterns that yield surprisingly complex results and log cabin is definitely that! Congratulations on your book and I wish you the best!

Beautiful book! My favorite thing about log cabin quilting is that it’s stash busting. Have a great book tour!

I’m looking forward to working with your book. What I love about the “Modern Quilting” style is that it is so fun to look at and fun to do. Congratulations on what is sure to be a popular book.

I am trying to find this book at nearest Barnes and Noble. Wish me luck – I love the cross quilt.

My favorite thing is the way a clearly traditional block can become modern through choice of fabric, pattern, amount of wonkiness, making something that is at once linked to the quilts my mother and grandmother made and a reflection of me, circa 2011. Thanks for the giveaway!
